Tappahannock Farmers' Market

Stroll the historic streets of Tappahannock during the Farmers' Market on the 3rd Saturday of the month from April through October at the intersection of Cross and Prince Streets.  

Shop for fresh local produce, homemade baked goods, fresh meats and seafoods, unique crafts and gifts, and plants. The market also offers live music entertainment, on-site dining options, and fun activities for the whole family.  

The Tappahannock Famers' Market welcomes all products homemade and homegrown. We encourage you to join our family of over 90 vendors and 1,200 visitors. 

We greatly value our vendors and their crafts and trades. We regularly emphasis the importance of shopping small and local throughout our community.   

Volunteering with Tappahannock Farmers' Market is fun, rewarding, and a great way to connect with people. If you are looking to get involved in your community, we have a variety of opportunities.

The Tappahannock Farmers’ Market has been an important part of our community for the past 15 years. This volunteer led and sponsor supported event allows us to showcase the produce, seafood, wines, homemade food items and baked goods of Tappahannock and Essex County, as well as many handcrafted arts and collectibles.
