The Tappahannock Farmers' Market welcomes all products homemade and/or homegrown.
We encourage local farmers, fishermen, crafts makers and artists to participate. We regularly emphasis the importance of shopping small and local throughout our community.
For reasons of public health and safety, fresh meats, fishery products and prepared foods will adhere to food handling procedures established by the Virginia Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services and The Virginia Department of Health. The Shellfish Sanitation Division of the Virginia Department of Health must approve shellfish and shell stock (see Appendix I: Call for Vendors / Rules and Regulations for details). Click HERE to download the Virginia Department of Health Application for Temporary Food Event Permit and click HERE for a review of Virginia Food Laws and how they apply to Farmers' Market vendors.
Arts and crafts items will be required to be hand-crafted. There will be no used goods, antiques, or flea market-type items allowed to be sold at the market, although, we will make every effort to encourage our patrons to also patronize the nearby antiques stores. No buy/sell, resale items, or mass-produced items will be allowed.
We host 7 markets each season on the third Saturday from April - October. Single booth spaces are $30 a month with 30% discount available when registering for the entire season.
We hope you decide to join us! You may submit your application and payment online using the links below, or print and mail to PO Box 493 Tappahannock, VA 22560.
